Biography
Silvano Presciuttini, born in Rome, holds degrees in Composition, Choral Music, and Choral Conducting. He also holds a Master's degree in Gregorian Chant from the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music. He studied composition under the guidance of Maestros Italo Bianchi and Edgar Alandia and has participated as a composer in various festivals in Italy and abroad.
He is a full professor of composition at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music, where he currently serves as Vice Dean. Together with all the Institute's composition teachers, he has participated in numerous projects related to the production of sacred music.

Oblatis Domine, Secreta Missae pro Papa Silvestro II, for mixed four-part choir performed by the choir of the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music directed by Maestro Walter Marzilli during the tour held during Easter week 1999 in Catalonia and Auvergne for the celebrations of the millennium of Pope Sylvester II.
