Biography
He began studying the piano at the age of ten, graduating with top marks and honours from the “U. Giordano” Conservatory in Foggia under the guidance of Claudio Trovajoli. He continued his training with Pietro De Maria and Enrico Stellini at the Pinerolo Academy of Music and the “Mozarteum” University in Salzburg.
He attended masterclasses with pianists of the calibre of Elisso Virsaladze, Antonio Pompa Baldi and Roberto Cappello.
Winner of numerous piano competitions, including: 1st Prize at the “Ortona Piano Competition”, 1st Prize at the “Barletta European Competition”, 1st Prize at the “Brindisi Piano Competition”, 1st Prize at the “Casamassima International Competition”, 1st Prize at the “Cogoleto International Competition”, 1st Prize at the “Riviera della Versilia” Piano Competition in Viareggio, and 1st Prize at the “Luigi Nono” International Competition in Venaria Reale. He passed the international auditions and reached the semi-finals of the “Ferruccio Busoni” Piano Competition in Bolzano in 2015. He has given concerts for the “Musica nelle Corti di Capitanata” festival and for the “Assaggi di Musica” concert season in Foggia, for the A. GI. MUS. in Lucera (FG), for the piano festival in Grottaglie (TA), for the “Musica al Tempio” concert season in Pinerolo (TO), for the concert season in Venaria Reale (TO), etc.
Since 2024, he has held the Chair of Piano at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome.
