Organ Festival
22 May 2026
public
On 22 May, the Organ Festival at the PIMS Abbey Church came to a highly successful close. This year, we presented three masterclasses and three concerts of the very highest standard, reflecting the focus of our two-year specialist courses.
Here are the key figures of this year’s festival:
- Maestro Manuel Tomadin – Early Music: Masterclass and concert exploring a journey from the Renaissance to the Classical period.
- Maestro Franz Josef Stoiber – Liturgical Improvisation: Masterclass and concert dedicated to the art of improvisation.
- Maestro Johannes Kleinjung – Romantic and Contemporary Music: Closing concert featuring the great organ masterpieces of Central Germany.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the guest lecturers, our students and the audience who, once again, brought together great music and high-quality education.
