The aim of the composition course is to train the next generation of composers in the skills necessary to work professionally in the field of sacred music, both through the study of traditional disciplines (harmony, counterpoint, and fugue) and more recent techniques.
The Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music awards the baccalaureate (3 years), the Licence (2 years) and the Doctorate in applied musicology (3 years).
