The course offers instrumental training for students who wish to focus on piano, and, in some cases, it also serves as a complementary support to organ training. In addition to the teaching of professors from within the Institute, the course can include masterclasses by well-known figures from the international musical scene. (The possible areas of specialisation on this course are: solo performance, chamber music and teaching).
The Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music awards the baccalaureate (3 years), the licentiate (2 years) and the doctorate in applied musicology (3 years).
