Concert by the students of the Voice Class

On Monday 19 May 2025, in the evocative setting of the Abbey Church of the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music, a concert entitled “Sacred Love and Profane Love: Music for the Soul” was held by the students of Maestro Maria Grazia Schiavo's didactic singing course. A variegated programme - from the Syriac tradition to Monteverdi and Stradella, up to the height of the Baroque with Fux, Händel and Bach - was interpreted with rare sensitivity by the splendid voices of Sr. Sara Hantoosh, Daniela Battioni, Derlis Gonzalez, Ivan Andrieri and Kevin Cribb, masterfully accompanied on organ and harpsichord by Marco Eduardo Rivas Torres and Fr. Charbel Abou Kheir, OMM.

A moment of intense sharing, offered by the prestigious Institute chaired by Fr. Robert Mehlhart, to a large and participative audience, which once again celebrated the power of music as a language of the soul.
