On Monday 28 April, in the Sala Refice of the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome, a new meeting of the cycle Da Roma al Mondo (From Rome to the World) was held, honouring PIMS alumni and their international commitment to sacred music.
The protagonist was Sr. Rosmary Esseff OP, a Dominican of the Congregation of St. Cecilia of Nashville, Doctor of Composition at PIMS, who has been active in musical and spiritual formation for over twenty years.
In her talk, Sr. Rosmary passionately illustrated the renewal of the liturgy through sacred music in the United States, offering a lively comparison with the European tradition.
