This course enables the student to obtain the skills necessary to train and conduct a choir, and includes training in vocal technique. It also teaches the student to understand different genres of Sacred Music from historical and practical points of view and their interaction, alongside training in conducting choral-orchestral repertoire.
The Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music awards the baccalaureate (3 years), the licence (2 years) and the doctorate in applied musicology (3 years).
