The PIMS at the Jubilee of the World of Education in St. Peter’s

On the occasion of the "Jubilee of the World of Education", in St. Peter's Basilica, the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music had the honour of participating in Holy Mass presided over by Pope Leo XIV, in the presence of students from the Pontifical Universities.

During the celebration, the PIMS Polyphonic Choir, conducted by Rector Robert Mehlhart, together with the Sistine Musical Chapel, accompanied the solemn moments of the liturgy with their singing.

During the celebration, the Holy Father signed an Apostolic Letter commemorating the sixtieth anniversary of "Gravissimum Educationis", reaffirming the value of Christian education as an instrument for the integral growth of the person.
