On 23 January, in the Academic Hall of the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music, presided over by Fr. Robert Mehlhart, the Music and Mission meeting celebrated St. Francis with a musical journey dedicated to the missionary power of music, from Gregorian chant to contemporary music.

The protagonists were the Schola Gregoriana directed by Inga Behrendt, the APCT children's choirs of Torrespaccata (dir. Daniele Perri), Pueri Cantores ‘M. Langhi’ of Novara (conducted by Alberto Veggiotti) and Voces Angelorum (conducted by Camilla Di Lorenzo), with pianist Olga Caiazza, and guest of honour Fr Alessandro Giacomo Brustenghi.

The evening, coordinated by Vice-Principal Silvano Presciuttini with Prof. Luca Buzzavi and Prof. Cesare Marinacci, concluded with Juan Barceló's Prayer of Peace, performed by the PIMS Polyphonic Choir with Giacomo Balduzzi on the organ, Fr Alessandro as soloist and Walter Marzilli conducting, before a large and enthusiastic audience.
