Holy Mass in preparation for Holy Christmas

On Tuesday, 17 December, in the Abbey Church of the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music, the Holy Mass in preparation for Christmas was held, presided over by H.E. Monsignor Alfonso Amarante, Rector of the Pontifical Lateran University and concelebrated by Fr. Robert Mehlhart OP, Rector of the Institute. The celebration was accompanied by the PIMS Polyphonic Choir, conducted by the students of the Choir Direction course led by Maestro Walter Marzilli, and the Gregorian Choir conducted by Maestro Inga Behrendt.

The organ music, performed with great skill by Don Giacomo Lim, made the liturgy even more participatory and engaging.

In the afternoon, the day continued in the Aula Magna of the Pontifical Lateran University, where the PIMS choir, conducted by Maestro Walter Marzilli, gave a concert of Christmas carols, sharing the magic and spirit of Christmas with the audience.
