Recital in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of Licinio Refice's passing

Intense was the programme that animated the second concert of the ‘Organ Plus’ review in honour of the Reficean year: an anthological journey through Licinio Refice's rich contemporary musical tradition, situated between the late 19th and early 20th century with works by Charles Tournemire, Paulo Chávez Aguilar and Jean Langlais without neglecting the great predecessors Franz Liszt and Cesar Franck. Fine performers and rightly applauded by the large audience in the academic hall in Piazza S. Agostino were, as always, the talented PIMS students: soprano Vera Kukoleva, contralto sr. Cecilia Hong, tenor Derlis Gonzalez Morel, conductor and organist Marco Eduardo Rivas Torres.
