On Monday, October 7, the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music (PIMS) unveiled its new logo, coordinated image, and revamped website, along with updated social media profiles. The Rector, Fr. Robert Mehlhart, outlined the year-long process aimed at updating the Institute’s communication strategy to highlight the beauty of sacred music and engage both current and former students from around the world.
The new logo and coordinated image, designed by Riccardo Rossi from Nova Opera, blend modernity and tradition, adapting to digital media while maintaining the Institute’s historical legacy.
The Dicastery for Communication of the Holy See introduced the new website (www.musicasacra.va), available in Italian and English, offering an intuitive interface for accessing courses, events, and academic activities.
The Institute’s social media presence has also been completely renewed, with new content on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, promoting more dynamic and innovative communication.
Ahead of the 2024/2025 academic year, the Institute will launch a new course in Digital Communication, aimed at exploring the relationship between sacred music and digital languages.
